Deep Time Walk in Madeira

Climbing up Pico do Facho, an iconic mountain in Machico, then heading down to the centre of town and finishing where the explorers are said to have first set foot on Madeira Island. This was my first time guiding a Deep Time Walk, and I invited friends to come along. A wonderful experience that left them wondering about the part they can play in protecting our planet. It might even have been the first Deep Time Walk on Madeira Island! As far as I know, I’m currently the only certified Deep Time Walk facilitator here.
