About This Walk

Take a guided 4.6km walk through 4.6 billion years of Earth history, led by one of our LAO Geologists, Jo Alexander. We'll hear about the events that have shaped our home planet, which puts into perspective the impact that humans are having. The whole walk will take 3 to 4 hours, so there will be lots of opportunity for discussion and we will make sure we stop for comfort breaks and snacks along the way.

I have worked professionally as a Geologist, but it's been a while! I'm hoping DTWs will reconnect me with the awe and wonder I feel about our Earth's history and help me find fun and creative ways to share my love for our planet with others.
