About This Walk

Join us as we explore the long history of Edinburgh. A Deep Time Walk is a walking meditation which invites us all to re-member ourselves as part of our planet's story. Share a moment of deep connection with our living world and discover an awe-inspiring story: from Earth's beginnings to the wonder of present moment. No geological knowledge required and all are welcome. At the end of our Deep Time Walk, we will facilitate an Active Hope Spiral exercise based on Joanna Macy’s Work that Reconnects. This reflection exercise is designed to help us process the experience of the walk: sharing gratitude for the gifts received, honouring the grief we feel for the pain of the world, and exploring how we wish to move beyond our time together.
